This tutorial will help you to enable your users to subscribe to or unsubscribe from a mailing list.
The Profile menu item type is the right tool to include forms to subscribe/unsubscribe for logged-in users.
Below you will find the few steps that are necessary to set it up.
Setup a Profile menu item

- Create a new menu entry in the Menu Manager (Menus > Open your menu of choice > New)
- Pick the Mailster category and the Profile menu item type
- Save the menu item
- Navigate to your site’s frontend and open the new menu item
- You need to be logged in to be able to see the profile dialog, so you might be asked to log in first.
Once logged in, you should see something like the following:
- Note that only lists will be displayed where the subscription/unsubscription is enabled in the mailing list settings
- In product editions offering the digests feature, the users are able to change their digest settings here (e.g., change from daily to weekly digest).
